Shipping Information

At Modern Australian Boots (MAB), we take great care in preparing and dispatching your order. All parcels are securely packed and handed to trusted delivery partners. While we do everything possible to ensure a smooth delivery, once your order has left our warehouse, certain factors are outside of our control.

1. Dispatch Location

  • All orders are dispatched from our Sydney warehouse.

2. Dispatch Timeframes

  • Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 24–48 business hours (Mon–Fri, excluding public holidays).
  • During peak periods (sales, holidays, promotions), processing times may be longer.
  • Dispatch timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed.

3. Domestic Shipping (Australia)

  • Standard Delivery:
    • FREE for orders over $100.
    • $5 flat rate for orders under $100.
    • Estimated timeframe: 3–7 business days.
  • Express Delivery:
    • $10 flat rate.
    • Estimated timeframe: 1–2 business days metro, 2–4 business days regional.

All domestic orders are sent with Authority to Leave (ATL) by default. If ATL is selected, the courier may leave your parcel at your premises without a signature, and the delivery will be deemed complete. MAB is not liable for loss, theft, or damage once a parcel is marked “Delivered.”
If you prefer a signature on delivery, please select this option at checkout.

4. International Shipping

  • Flat rate of $20 AUD per order.
  • Estimated timeframe: 8–21 business days after dispatch.
  • Transit times may extend due to customs clearance.

Customs & Duties:

  • All international orders may be subject to import duties, customs fees, and local taxes.
  • These charges are determined by the destination country and are entirely the responsibility of the purchaser.
  • MAB cannot estimate or absorb these costs and will not accept claims relating to them.

Customs may legally hold parcels without notice, causing delivery delays. MAB is not responsible for such delays or fees.

5. Tracking

  • Once dispatched, a tracking number will be sent to your email.
  • Tracking is provided through our courier partners (Australia Post ).
  • Some international parcels may become untraceable once they leave Australia, depending on the destination carrier.

6. Delivery Issues

  • Lost in Transit: If your parcel does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, first contact the courier with your tracking number. If unresolved, contact MAB so we can assist with an investigation.
  • Returned Parcels: If your order is returned to us due to incorrect address details, non-collection, or refusal of delivery:
    • Domestic orders incur a re-delivery fee of $10 AUD.
    • International orders incur a re-delivery fee of $35 AUD.
    • If you choose not to re-ship, a restocking fee of $25 AUD will be deducted from your refund.
  • Delivered but Missing: If a parcel is marked delivered but cannot be located, MAB cannot accept liability, as theft or loss after delivery is outside our control. We recommend providing a secure delivery address or selecting signature on delivery.

8. Important Notes

  • All shipping timeframes are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.
  • Refused or unclaimed parcels may incur additional charges.
  • Shipping promotions (e.g., free shipping thresholds) cannot be used with other discounts.
  • By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these shipping terms.
